What is an individual lease?

An individual lease provides each resident with their own separate lease agreement, responsibility for only his/her rental instalments and other applicable charges. By signing an individual lease, you are only taking responsibility for your rental instalments and lease terms and will not be held liable for any delinquent amounts owed by your roommate(s).

Can I request a specific roommate(s)?

Yes, you will have the option to list the roommate(s) you wish to live with during the application process. It is important that all roommates list each other and that all requests are mutual.

Do you have a roommate matching service?

Yes, if you will be occupying a shared room and do not have a pre-arranged roommate(s), you will have the option to fill out a short questionnaire during the application process. This questionnaire will inquire as to your study habits, social habits and hobbies to help us match you with residents that have similar preferences.

Am I allowed to request a specific unit?

You can list your preferences in your application and we will do our best to place you in the unit that fits those requirements. All requests are served on a first-come, first-served basis and are taken in order based on the date your lease was received.

Are you pet friendly?

The Myriad properties do not allow any pets.

What’s included in my rent?

Inclusions vary across different The Myriad properties. Generally, the following are included in the rent:
  • Furnishings
  • Utilities (electricity, water, gas, air conditioning)
  • High-speed broadband and Wi-Fi
  • On-site laundry facilities
  • Sporting facilities
  • 24-hour security
  • Community features (lounges, study rooms, activity rooms, shared kitchens, etc.)

Is the staff available after hours?

Yes, there will be members of staff working 24/7 to tend to the residents’ needs. Security and reception will work around the clock as well as a community manager and 24-hour emergency maintenance call-out service.

Do you have accessible rooms?

All of The Myriad properties are accessible for wheelchair users and other people of determination. There are designated rooms for people of determination, subject to availability and the properties have been designed to ensure ease movement for all residents.
