STUDENT LIVING COMMUNITIES

As part of Power November, we hosted the Student Dance Throwdown on 27th of November, courtesy of dance instructor Vernay Locke! Enthusiastic students took part in a unique experience featuring afro, hip-hop and dancehall styles. The best performers received amazing gifts generously provided by Puma, with each participant also receiving practical giveaways from Pylones. California Pizza Kitchen made sure no one stays hungry or thirsty after this active evening at The Myriad Dubai.

This month has been dedicated to exercise and fitness in tandem with Dubai 30X30. We have been hosting a variety of events and activities to keep our residents and visitors active. From table tennis tournaments to callisthenics circuit training, basketball battles and other special events, we aimed to provide something for everyone to enjoy for this month.

MYBISTRO LAUNCH

Earlier on we teased you with our Elite meal deliveries but we’ve just stepped it up a notch and officially opened MyBistro! For very affordable prices, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in modern atmosphere. Whether you’re a resident of the community or a visitor, anyone can drop by to enjoy a delicious meal.

THE MYRIACADE & MYRIAPLEX LAUNCH

Another exciting addition to our community’s facilities has opened this month too, The Myriacade! Inside there are thousands of games waiting to be played. Aside from the main Gaming Room, you will find VR booths, the E-Sports Lounge, the War Room, a pool table, air hockey and many more classic arcade games. To top it off Myriaplex, our indoor cinema, can be found in The Myriacade.

This month we launched our weekly Game Nights as part of the activities calendar, hosted at the Library Lounge, giving you the chance to challenge your friends to your favourite board games. Chess, Scrabble, Jenga and more games are provided at all times apart from the Game Nights timing too, you just need to bring your competitive spirit.

MyGallery at the Library Lounge is now waiting for you to visit. You will find the winners’ artworks of The Myriad Dubai’s first annual art competition as well as a variety of volunteer submissions on display! Pass by and feast your eyes on the wonderful creations, with some pieces may be available for purchase if you’re interested in unique art.

To make the Library Lounge exciting in all aspects, we have called for book donations all around the United Arab Emirates, and have received generous donations. More than 300 books are now available for you to enjoy, with an extensive list of categories to choose from. Let it be fiction, drama or philosophy, you will surely find something within your interest.
